Most reviews can be completed from the declinature letter and the relevant policy wording. If you have supporting medical evidence or correspondence the insurer relied on, include that too. No preparation work is required on your side. Just send what you already have in the file.

The cases that produce the most useful analysis are usually ones where the declinature depends on a contested policy definition, where the treating evidence appears stronger than the insurer's decision suggests, or where something about the reasoning in the declinature letter doesn't quite sit right, but you can't isolate exactly why.

Straightforward declinatures (where the claimant clearly doesn't meet the definition and the treating evidence supports that conclusion) are unlikely to produce findings that change the picture. If that describes the file you have in mind, this review probably isn't the right tool for it.
